Nothing is kept.
CAPENATOR is a party game by TrevBeats Multimedia. It listens to an answer, fact-checks the words, measures stress in the voice and prints a reading. This page says exactly what the app touches and what happens to it. Effective October 6, 2026.
The microphone
The microphone is on only while you hold the REC button, and only after you allow it. Tap STOP and it is off. You can also upload a recording instead of using the mic.
What leaves the device
- Voice stress is measured on your device. Those numbers never leave it.
- The words: to check what was said, the clip is sent over an encrypted connection to the CAPENATOR server, written down, fact-checked with a live web search and two AI judges, and the reading comes back. The clip and the text are processed in memory and discarded. They are not stored, not used to train anything and not shared with anyone else.
- The optional question you type on the Q: line goes along with the words so the fact-check knows what was being answered.
What we never do
- No account, no sign-in, no profile.
- No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party SDKs that watch you.
- No recordings, transcripts or readings are stored on our servers. Your reading counter and voice choice live only in your browser or on your phone.
Buying it
On the web, the one-time unlock is paid through Stripe. Stripe handles your card and sends us only a receipt number for that purchase; we use that receipt, or the email you paid with, to open the machine in your browser. We never see your card. On iPhone, the app is bought through the App Store, and Apple handles everything about the purchase.
Children
CAPENATOR is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone.
Recording other people
Only record people who know they are being recorded. Recording laws differ by place, and following them is on the operator, not the machine.
